Christmas in the prisons

Publicated on: December 25, 2015

Christmas is a special time in prisons, too. The Prison Administration pays special attention to involving every institution in the seasonal festivities.

Prisoners decorate the buildings, set up Christmas trees and prepare presents. We organize events, group workshops, presentations, and show films to help prisoners feel the holiday spirit. At this time of year almost every institution organizes a Christmas church service because religious leaders consider it a priority to bring Christmas blessings to those who spend the holidays away from their loved ones.
